Job Introduction

We are seeking an Assistant Payroll Manager to join our Finance Team. You will play a key role in processing the Group’s monthly payroll data and ensuring the delivery of a professional, customer-oriented payroll service.

Working closely with the Payroll Manager, wider finance team and other key stakeholders, you will have good communication skills and work collaboratively to ensure the collection and input of payroll data is accurately and within set deadlines. 

You will have 2-3 years of payroll experience and have strong organisational, numerical, and time-management skills. You will be proficient in IT (Word, Excel) and have good attention to detail, ensuring you work is accurate and of a high quality.

Ideally this position is 37.5 hours a week, 5 days a week, 52 weeks of the year, however flexibility on the working hours/pattern may be available to the correct candidate. 

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. In January 2021, Winchester House and Swanbourne House Schools became part of The Stowe Group.
