Job Introduction

We are seeking a cricket coach that is experienced in coaching cricketers, has a passion for developing players and the game in general. The role will run throughout the summer term. 

The cricket coach will oversee group coaching sessions of Stowe’s cricketers of all age groups in all of crickets fundamental skills.   This will include leading warmups, running net sessions, running drills-based sessions, running fielding sessions, running tactical classroom sessions and running games-based sessions.  It may also include one-to-one coaching (with use of bowling machines), coaching during matches and umpiring matches.   

Coaching will involve supporting a current Stowe member of staff or leading the session.  Input may also be sought in terms of team selection for matches.

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. The Stowe Group of schools (Stowe, Ashfold, Swanbourne House and Winchester House) are situated on four separate sites in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire and educate children from 3-18 years.
