Job Introduction
Winchester House School seeks a teacher who will bring enthusiasm and joy to their classroom, enthusing all pupils to achieve their potential and nurturing those who aspire to excel in Music, with an added specialism in Games.
The successful candidate will play a role in shaping and developing a dynamic and forward-thinking Performing Arts department, working collaboratively across Music and Drama to create exciting opportunities for performance, creativity and cross-curricular learning.
The Teacher of Music lead and develop a vibrant co-curricular music programme, including choirs, orchestra and ensembles, bringing energy, enthusiasm and advanced piano/keyboard accompaniment skills to rehearsals, performances and productions.
Beyond the classroom, we are looking for an individual who is “whole-school”, inspiring Housians to be true Change Makers.
The post is suitable for experienced and recently qualified teachers.
Winchester House School
Winchester House School was founded in 1875 and moved to its present 18-acre site in the centre of Brackley in 1922. The heart of the School is situated in Manor House, an attractive building dating from the early 1800s. Winchester House comprises a fully co-educational nursery, pre-prep and preparatory school, offering an outstanding education to children aged 3-13 with day, occasional and weekly boarding available. In January 2021, Winchester House School became part of The Stowe Group.
